Our Commitment

Gambling Should Stay Fun

At wen7, responsible gambling is not a box we tick to satisfy regulators — it is a core part of how we run the platform. We understand that for the vast majority of our users, betting on a PSL match or spinning a slot game is a leisure activity. It stays enjoyable as long as you remain in control of your time and spending.

The problem is that a minority of people develop gambling patterns that stop being recreational and begin causing real harm — financial stress, strained relationships and mental health difficulties. wen7 takes that seriously. We have built tools directly into your account to help you set limits, take breaks and, if necessary, exclude yourself from the platform entirely.

This page covers everything you need to know: how to use wen7's responsible gambling features, the warning signs of problem gambling, a short self-assessment, and information about where to seek help. If you are in Pakistan — whether you are in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or anywhere else — please read this page before placing your first bet.

One clear rule underpins everything on this page: never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose. Not PKR 500. Not PKR 50,000. Not any amount that should be going to household expenses, savings or family obligations. If that line is already blurred, the tools on this page are for you — and using them is the right call.

Pakistan legal context: Pakistan has gambling restrictions under the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. wen7 does not operate under the authority of any Pakistani government body, the PTA, the State Bank of Pakistan or any provincial authority. Users in Pakistan are solely responsible for understanding and complying with applicable local law before gambling on this platform. This page does not constitute legal advice.

Adults Only — 18 or Older, or the Higher Minimum Required

wen7 is strictly for adults aged 18 or older — or the higher minimum age required by the operator's licence jurisdiction or applicable local law, whichever is greater. This is not a guideline; it is a hard requirement. Every account goes through mandatory KYC age verification. If you are under the applicable minimum age, do not register. If you know someone who is underage and gambling on wen7, contact support immediately. We will close the account and handle the matter in accordance with our policies and applicable obligations.

Minors in Pakistan — including those in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar — are specifically prohibited from using this platform. Age alone does not make gambling lawful in Pakistan; users must also satisfy applicable local legal requirements.

Account Controls

Tools to Keep You in Control

All of the following tools are available directly inside your wen7 account settings. They take effect immediately or within 24 hours as noted. Using them is a sign of good decision-making, not weakness.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount per day, per week or per month. Once a deposit limit is active, you cannot exceed it during the chosen period. Requests to increase a limit are subject to a mandatory cooling-off period before taking effect. Requests to decrease a limit apply immediately.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum amount you are prepared to lose within a daily, weekly or monthly window. When your net losses reach the limit, betting and casino play is automatically suspended for the remainder of the period. Like deposit limits, reductions take effect immediately while increases require a waiting period.

Session Time Limits

Limit how long a single gambling session can last. When your session timer expires, you will be automatically logged out. You can set daily session time caps from 15 minutes up to several hours. Regular reality-check notifications will also alert you to how long you have been active mid-session.

Cooling-Off Period

Take a short break without permanently closing your account. Cooling-off periods range from 24 hours to 6 weeks. During a cooling-off period, you cannot deposit, bet or access the casino. The period runs in full — you cannot cancel it early. Marketing communications are also suspended.

Self-Exclusion

Request a temporary self-exclusion (from 6 months up to 5 years) or a permanent self-exclusion with no end date. Once active, your account is locked. You cannot log in, deposit or gamble. Permanent self-exclusion is irreversible. See the step-by-step guide below for how to request this.

Reality Check Reminders

Enable periodic on-screen pop-ups that tell you exactly how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered in the current session. These reminders are designed to interrupt extended play and prompt you to make a conscious decision about whether to continue.

Self-Exclusion

How to Self-Exclude

Self-exclusion is available at any time — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You do not need to explain your reasons. The process takes a few minutes and takes effect immediately upon confirmation.

1
Log In to Your Account

Access your wen7 account from any device. Self-exclusion is managed through your Account Settings panel.

2
Navigate to Responsible Gambling Settings

Inside Account Settings, locate the "Responsible Gambling" or "Safe Play" section. All limit and exclusion tools are grouped there.

3
Select Self-Exclusion Period

Choose your exclusion duration — from 6 months up to permanent exclusion. Read the confirmation message carefully, particularly for permanent exclusion which cannot be reversed.

4
Confirm Your Request

Confirm the exclusion. Your account is locked immediately. You will receive a confirmation email. Marketing emails and promotional messages are simultaneously suspended.

5
Cannot Access the Settings Panel?

Contact support via live chat (accessible without logging in through the support widget) or email [email protected]. State clearly that you wish to self-exclude and we will process it manually without delay.

Important: What Happens During Self-Exclusion
Your account is locked — no login, no deposits, no betting
All bonus and promotional communications are stopped immediately
New account registrations using your details are blocked
Any eligible real-money balance can be withdrawn — contact support to request
Support access remains open for withdrawal requests or help queries
Permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed under any circumstances
After a temporary self-exclusion ends: You must proactively contact support to reactivate your account. Accounts are not automatically reopened. A 24-hour reflection period applies before reactivation is processed.
Warning Signs

Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling does not always look the way people expect. Here are the patterns that suggest gambling has moved from entertainment to something more serious.

Chasing Losses

Placing bigger bets after a losing session to try to win back money you have already lost. This pattern escalates quickly and almost always makes the financial situation worse.

Gambling Beyond Your Means

Using money set aside for rent, groceries, household bills or family expenses to fund gambling — whether in PKR 500 amounts or much larger sums.

Inability to Stop

Repeatedly trying to cut back or stop gambling but finding yourself unable to follow through, even when you genuinely want to.

Secrecy and Hiding Activity

Lying to family members or hiding gambling activity from people close to you — a sign that you know on some level the behaviour has become problematic.

Gambling to Escape

Turning to gambling as a way to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness or difficult personal situations rather than as pure entertainment.

Borrowing to Gamble

Taking loans, using credit, borrowing from friends or family — or selling possessions — to fund gambling activity. This is a serious escalation signal.

Healthy Habits

Signs of Healthy Play

Here is what responsible, in-control gambling looks like. If these describe your approach, you are in a healthy place with your gambling activity.

A Fixed Entertainment Budget

You set aside a specific PKR amount each week or month purely for entertainment — and gambling comes out of that budget, not from essential household money.

Losses Are Expected and Accepted

You understand that losing is the statistically probable outcome over time and that you are paying for the entertainment experience — similar to a cinema ticket or a restaurant meal.

You Stop When You Hit Your Limit

When your deposit or loss limit is reached, you log out. No exceptions, no overrides, no attempts to deposit from a different account.

Gambling Is One of Many Activities

Betting on a PSL T20 match or playing a few casino rounds is a small part of your week — not a daily preoccupation or the main thing you look forward to.

You Are Open About Your Activity

You have no need to hide your gambling from family or friends because it is at a level you are genuinely comfortable with and that has no negative impact on your household.

You Take Breaks Without Difficulty

Taking a week or a month off from gambling feels straightforward — you do not feel irritable, restless or anxious when not gambling.

Self-Assessment

A Quick Self-Check

The following questions are adapted from internationally recognised responsible gambling screening tools. If you answer "yes" to several of these, it may be time to use one of wen7's account control tools or seek external support.

1

Have you ever spent more money gambling than you originally planned when you started a session?

2

Have you gambled to try to win back money you had already lost?

3

Have you ever borrowed money from family, friends or a lender specifically to fund gambling?

4

Have you felt restless, irritable or anxious when you have tried to cut back or stop gambling?

5

Have you gambled as a way to escape problems, stress, boredom or negative feelings?

6

Have you ever hidden the extent of your gambling activity from someone who matters to you?

7

Has gambling ever caused you to neglect work, family responsibilities or important commitments?

8

Have you thought about stopping gambling but found yourself unable to follow through?

What to do if you answered yes to multiple questions: Start with wen7's built-in tools — set tighter deposit and loss limits, activate a cooling-off period or request self-exclusion. If the issue feels serious, consider speaking to a healthcare professional or mental health counsellor. Problem gambling is a recognised condition. Support is available and seeking it is the right decision.
Best Practices

Practical Tips for Safe Play

Set a Budget First

Decide your PKR gambling budget before you log in — and stick to it regardless of wins or losses.

Set a Time Limit

Decide how long you will play before you start. Use the session timer in your account to enforce it automatically.

Never Chase Losses

A losing session does not mean the next bet will win. Accept the loss and close the session — do not chase.

Take Regular Breaks

Step away every 30–45 minutes. A short break helps you reassess your session with a clearer head.

No Alcohol or Substances

Never gamble when impaired. Impaired decision-making leads to higher-risk bets and worse outcomes.

Winning Is Not the Goal

Treat gambling as paid entertainment, not a strategy to make money. The house edge applies to every game.

Keep Others Informed

Let a trusted family member know about your gambling budget. Accountability to someone else helps you stay within limits.

Do Not Play on Credit

Only gamble with funds you already have. Borrowing to gamble — from any source — is a clear warning sign.
